My Nan was such a kind hearted soul, who always thought of others before herself. I can't ever remember going to nan's house and coming out empty handed, weather it was a hand full of change that she dug out of the very bottom of her purse, or it was a bag of goodies such as chocolate bars " which she had hid around the house by the dozen " or a bag of cheezies that she always had hidden in the pantry. Nan always had the table decked out to the nines when company came to visit. Those are just a few of my childhood memories of nan, however I have some funnier ones as an adult.... Nan used to love some help when getting her groceries, so myself or my mother used to be the main ones to go with them and help her pick up her groceries," Nan could be very out spoken some times, and perhaps not know if she was loud enough for others to hear her coments" but that day we were at foodland, and there was this cute little baby in a cart shopping with his mother, Nan started towards the cart to have a closer look at the little boy, "my what a cute baby" she said, as she walked away form the child she looked in my direction and blurted out He's not as cute as little Jayden though! well I was a little embarrassed, but in the same time I was extremely proud, She loved Jayden and his visits to her. I only wish she had seen Ethan"her new great-grand child" before she passed on. But I'm sure that Nan will live through Ethan, and I know she allready is living through Jayden as his faveroite instruments are the same as hers " The accordine and the harmonica". Nan I know that you are our angel, and you will look over my boys, For that, We Love you forever!! Your only grand daughter Sarah
