I will forever have fond and loving memories of both Bob and Megan. When we moved to Carbonear in 1970 they became true friends to us. We were included in all social gatherings and they made sure that we met everybody. I shall never forget Megan's wonderful laugh!! She always was quick to laugh and chuckle and lighten up any moment. I quite often think of her and only wish that we could get back some of those wonderful times.
Love to her wonderful family.

Devon, Robin, & Michael: I am sorry for your loss of your mother. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow. I know we never lose the people we love. They live the rest of our lives with us in our heart. My heart goes out to you and your families during this difficult loss. Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

I remember your mother mostly from when I was a child and she and my mother, Clara Smallwood Russell, and Grandmother, Clara Oates Smallwood, would share time together - your mother was a grand friend to our family and I know if my grandparents (Joseph & Clara Smallwood) were alive, they too would be saddened to learn of Megan's passing. She was a charming lady who wore her heart on her sleeve when it came to Newfoundland and her Newfoundlands! My heartfelt sympathies, Dale Russell FitzPatrick Roaches Line, Newfoundland

Robin, Devon, Michael. I was so saddened to learn of the passing of Megan, no doubt the end of an era. Some of my fondest memories of growing up in Carbonear are times spent with your family whether in Carbonear, right across the street from our house, or at that magnificent home in Harbour Grace. My first summer job at 9 years old was working at the kennel for $1 per day! Bob and Megan enjoyed each and every day, the sound of their laughter still resonates. Please accept my deepest condolences. You are in my thoughts. David

Dear Robin, Devon and Michael, I am very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a good friend of my mother, Mildred Miller and although it has been a long time since my family and yours were neighbors in Harbour Grace, she remembered me when I visited in September. Your Mom did light up a room and she was a great storyteller. It was such a pleasant visit. She was a special lady and she will be missed. Hello to you all from the Millers.

To the Nutbeem family, we were very saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Nutbeem. She has been a family friend for years and every Christmas we go visit her and have a drink with her and talk about memories, family and life in general. We took her one day for a sleigh ride and she loved it, and we were more than happy to give her that sleigh ride. She had a very kind spirit, a gentle woman and a zest for life and lived her life the way she wanted to. May God bless her and keep her forever in his arms... until we meet again Mrs. Nutbeem, have the sleigh ready and we will go for a sleigh ride again one day...our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless. Tom & Bridget Rose Shannon (Rose), Dawson and David Humber
