Dear Margot, Allison, Merredith and family. My deepest sympathy to all of you in this time of sorrow. I worked for your Dad many years ago at the Department of Justice in St. John's and also in his private law practice both on Duckworth Street and in Carbonear. He taught me so much about dealing with clients and working etiquette in general. I've thought of him so often over the years. I moved to Ontario and lost contact but never forgot him. Unfortunately, when I tried to visit him a couple of years ago, he was not at home. My friend advised me of his passing so I just had to pass along my condolences to you. His picture is lovely and, after all these years, his smile remains as I remember it. May memories comfort you and God bless you all. Jane Kean
