SKINNER, H. Edmund 'Ed'- Passed peacefully away at his residence on Tuesday, December 27, 2005, H. Edmund 'Ed' Skinner of Carbonear, age 93 years. Predeceased by brother: Samuel and sister: Gladys. Leaving to mourn wife: Marie; two daughters: Anne (Carl) Kleemeyer, Morristown, NJ, USA and Elsie (Ches) Fillier, Clarke's Beach; two sons: Harold (Jean), Bowie, MD, USA and Don (Melinda), Spaniard's Bay; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Richard), Heather, John, Amy, Christopher and Marcus; one great-grandson: Malcolm; one sister: Maude Barnes, Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR on Thursday, December 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment to follow in the United Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Ochre Pit Cove.
