Obituary of Naomi Murray

MURRAY, Naomi - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, October 7, 2010, Naomi Murray of Carbonear, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: Herbert; son: George; four brothers: Steadman, William, Fred and Eugene; three sisters: Marcella, Maryann and Rebecca. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Shirley Murray, St. John's and Linda (Brian) Green, Carbonear; one son: Herbert, Conception Bay South; daughter-in-law: Marie Murray, Victoria; six grandchildren: Darrin (Joy), Christopher (Wendy), Gregory (Cindy), Stephanie (Trevor), Mark and Stephen; six great-grandchildren: Jacob, Nicholas, Genieva, Solomon, Ethan and Zander; two sisters: Mabel Tucker, St. John's and May (Cyril) Pike, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, October 10 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
