NORMAN, Theodore E. 'Ted' - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 7, 2010, Theodore E. 'Ted' Norman of Western Bay, age 90 years. Predeceased by parents: Arthur and Mary; son: Fred; brothers: Walt and Cyril; sisters: Edith and Ollie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Eileen; four daughters: May (Kenneth) White, Lorraine (Fred) Cox and Ruth (Larry) Denine, all of St. John's and Phyllis (Tom) Ivey, Victoria; six sons: John (Elsie), Victoria, Herb, Ontario, Ches, Ernest (Valerie) and David (Maxine), all of St. John's and Francis, AB; step-daughter: Patricia (Frank) Lidstone, St. John's; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; one brother: John (Mary), St. John's; two sisters: Winnie Norman and Florence Norman, both of St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, October 9 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Western Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
