CHAFE, Marie - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, Marie Chafe of Harbour Grace, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: Henry; son: Charles; daughter: Gail and sisters: Theresa and Freda. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Madonna (Kevin) Martin, Harbour Grace; daughter-in-law: Barbara, St. John's; four grandchildren: Trevor (Tina), Keith, Kevin (Colleen) and Brian (Shawna): seven great-grandchildren: Kerri, Ryan, Caitlin, Chelsea, Jaylynn, Julia and Andrew; one sister: Betty Savoie, Louisiana, USA; brother-in-law: Alex Nicholl, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral mass to take place on Thursday, October 7 at 10:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception Project Restoration Fund.
