Obituary of Myrtle Dale

DALE, MYRTLE EVA - Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, St. John's, Myrtle Dale, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Elisha (1996), Infant daughter Virtue, daughters Madeline and Linda; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Dale and son-in-law Jack Woodfine. Left to mourn her children Ralph (Alison), Harold (Ellen), Marilyn Woodfine, Thomas (Dale), David (Lorena), Carol Ann (Wilf Waye), Valerie Earles (Joe) and Jackie (Bob Mcloughlan); twelve grandchildren; Rebecca and Vanessa Dale, Jennifer (Jay Layman), Katie (Lance Keve), David Dale (Monica), Peter Avery (Andrea), Roger Avery (Natalie), Kristi Briffett (Greg), Jonathon Dale (Jennifer), Aaron Dale (Rhea), Kelly Andrews, Amy Leavins (Tre) as well as twelve great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caring staff of the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge. Resting at Carnells Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's on Friday, September 10 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A further visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, September 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Sunday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. . Internment in Hope United Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Myrtle's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
