Obituary of Mary Ellen Power

POWER, Mary Ellen- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, July 25, 2010, Mary Ellen Power of Carbonear; formerly of Low Point, age 80 years. Predeceased by son: Aubrey; parents: James and Margaret; twin brother: Bill; sister: Dot Oliver. Leaving to mourn, husband: James; three daughters: Donna Power and Mona Power, both of Toronto, ON and Sharon (Gerald) Budden, Sop's Arm; four sons: Bruce (Anastatia) and Barry (Jenny), both of Toronto, ON, Chris (Dianne), Corner Brook and Wayne (Winnie), Bay de Verde; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Joe (Irene) Power, Clarke's Beach and Ben (Anne) Power, Toronto, ON; three sisters: Lillian McCarthy, Toronto, ON, Marie (Anthony) Pinsent, Bellevue, Trinity Bay and Theresa (Will) Power, Lower Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Low Point. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
