POTTLE, Lester A.- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, June 26, 2010, Lester A. Pottle of Salmon Cove, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Albert and Alice Pottle; sisters: Kathleen, Florrie, Nina, Allison and Ada; brother: Kenneth. Leaving to mourn, wife: Viola; two brothers: Oliver, New Hampshire and Reuben, St. John's; two sisters: Annie Watson, Toronto, ON and Lavinia Rees, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Lester's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the SPCA.
