CLARKE, Gordon M. - Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Friday, October 14, 2011 Gordon M. Clarke of Victoria, age 85 years. Predeceased by daughter: Mary; grandson: Randy; parents: William and Mary Jane; brothers: Roland, George, Herb and Allan; sisters: Mary, Louise and Lyma. Leaving to mourn, wife of 56 years, Joyce; four daughters: Roma Clarke (Francois), Montreal, Rhoda (Wade) Priddle, Sarnia, ON, Pearl (Scott) Slade, Victoria and Nadine (Keith) Winsor, Paradise; four sons: Neil (Dianne), Mount Pearl, Roland (Dallas), Victoria, Gordon Jr. (Madonna), Oshawa, ON and Claude (Angie), Kilbride; fifteen grandchildren: Jessica, Renee, Ryan, Tracy (Derek), Jason (Lindsay), Nicole (Robert), Justin, Jordan, Jeremy, Andrew, Christy (Wayne), Leslie (Trevor), Morgan, Madison and Elizabeth; four great-grandchildren: Emily, Abby, Jaxon and Keegan; three sisters: Marion (Milton) Sellars, Toronto, ON, Jessie (Jack) Ryan, Montreal, QC and Joyce (Sandy) MacGregor, Scarborough, ON; brothers-in-law: Wilson (Eunice) Antle and Harold Jr. (Clara) Antle, both of Victoria; sisters-in-law: Lorraine (John) Francis, Victoria and Ruth (Rick) Heffernan, Goulds; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours by request of the family, Sunday and Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 18 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria.
