PIKE, Gladys- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 30, 2010, Gladys Pike of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Gerald; daughter: Elizabeth Pike; parents: John and Katie Noel; infant brother: Ronald; brother: William Noel; sister-in-law: Mary Noel; brother-in-law: Arthur Cole; son-in-law: Clayton Sharpe. Leaving to mourn: two daughters: Catherine Sharpe, Upper Island Cove and Linda (Jellico) Gosse, Tilton; two sons: Wade (Linda), Summerside, PEI and Brian W. (Karen), Lewisporte; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister: Linda Cole, St. John's; son-in-law: Laurence Pike, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
