BURDEN, Gordon- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, April 17, 2010, Gordon Burden of Carbonear, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Gordon & Edna Burden; baby brother: Arthur. Leaving to mourn, wife: Elizabeth; daughter: Cindy (Gary) McIsaac, Calgary, AB; two sons: Clarence (Renee), St. John's; Scott (Shirley), Carbonear; five grandchildren: Grant (Laura), Corbin, Austin, Kimberley, Kristen; one great-granddaughter: Riley; four brothers: Eric, Stephenville, Everett (Sylvia), Mt. Pearl, Hubert (Loretta), Bay Robert's, Walter (Annette), Ontario; three sisters: Vida (Melvin) Clarke, Paradise, Jacqueline (Bill) Kennedy, Mt. Pearl, Hilson (Randy) Leonard, Mt. Pearl; brothers-in-law: Lloyd Flight, Carbonear; Roy Flight, Victoria; sisters-in-law: Hazel (Frank) Thoms, Carbonear; Doreen Burden, Brigus; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted.
