PARSONS, Chesley- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, Chesley Parsons of Bryants Cove, age 93 years. Predeceased by wife: Clara M.; son: Kevin; parents: Charles and Sarah Parsons; two sisters: Elsie Hann and Daisy Noel; brother: Maxwell. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Elsie (Levi) Rose, Burgeo, Gloria Parsons and Sarah M. (Bernard) Carpenter, both of Carbonear; three sons: Gordon (Jeanette), Carbonear, David (Lorraine), Bay Roberts and Heber (Gail), Bryant's Cove; eight grandchildren: Chris (Terri), Pamela (Dennis), Bradley, Evan, Cory, Lisa, Nicholas and Hillary; one great-grandchild: Alison; one sister: Mabel Maude Babb, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 15 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Bryant's Cove. Interment in St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery, Bryant's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Chesley's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit C/o the TCP Health Foundation or to St. Andrews Anglican Church.
