Delores, I was very shocked when I got the call about your dad's tragic death. It was earlier that same night that for some reason I got the urge to call home & I was talking to 3 of my sisters and I was saying how I would like to visit Uncle Allan when I come home this summer. About an hour later I got the call and I couldn't believe it. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

Dolores, I was so saddened to hear about Uncle Allan. I spoke to him on the phone a few days before and he sounded very happy. He told me he still walked every day, sometimes twice a day. He enjoyed being at Cannings as the meals were good and he had his room with a fridge and he could go to the store and pick up little extra things when he wanted to. He spoke on the phone with your Uncle Sammy, my father, frequently lately and my father enjoyed their talks.I am very sorry I did not get to visit him in person for a lot of years. Praying for you and your Family. Goldie
