Obituary of Maryann Penney

PENNEY, Maryann- Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Home, St. John's, on Thursday, December 24, 2009, Maryann Penney of New Perlican, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: John; daughter: Norma (Howard); sister: Lorna Warren and brothers: Merle and Monroe White. Leaving to mourn, three sons: Melvin Penney (Jean), Toronto, ON, Gordon (Huldah) and Henry (Shirley), both of St. John's; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, New Perlican with visitation hours on Saturday, Dec. 26 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, New Perlican. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, New Perlican. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Maryann's memory may be made to St. Augustine's Anglican Church, New Perlican.
