CROWLEY, Grayson H. - Passed peacefully away after a short illness at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, December 18, 2009, Grayson H. Crowley of Western Bay, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: Samuel and Cecily, brother: Murdock and sisters: Hazel and Janie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Clarice; six daughters: June (Gary) Vaters and Janie Rose (Alvin Penney), both of Western Bay, Dorothea (Gary) Reynolds, Darlene (David) Oliver and Cindy Parsons, all of Chamberlains and Tracey (Robert) Snelgrove, Kelligrews; son: Wade (Helena), Mississauga, ON; nine grandchildren: Mark, Megan, Natasha, Corey, Amy, April, Ashley, Zachary and Kailey; three great-grandchildren: Nathan, Logan and Adison; brother: Joseph Crowley, Collingwood Downs, Clarke's Beach; two sisters-in-law: Dorothea Hogan, Hamilton, ON and Marina (Lawrence) Cole, Victoria; four brothers-in-law: Sherman (Marjorie) Powers and Reginald (Maude) Powers, both of Winterton, Roger (Glenys) Powers, Chamberlains and Walter (Michelle) Powers, BC; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Grayson's memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
