TAYLOR, Mabel E. - Passed peacefully away at the Carewest George Boyack Care Centre, Calgary, AB on Monday, December 7, 2009, Mabel E. Taylor; formerly of Western Bay, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: James Sr.; son: James Winston; brothers: Roy and Eugene; step-brother: Harris and step-sister: Mary Trickett. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Joan (Hayward) Slade, Bishop's Falls; daughter-in-law: Dairdre Taylor, Calgary, AB; four grandchildren: Darryl (Tracey), Mona (Lorenzo), Tim (Dimi) and Terry (Carla); six great-grandchildren: Brittany, Taylor, Tori, Jarrod, Gracie and Willow; brother: Edward (Florence) Trickett, Buchans; sister: Emma Dyson, Goose Bay; step-sister: Anne Dowden, Carbonear; step-brothers: Melvin Trickett and Berkley Trickett, both of Dildo; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours on Saturday, December 12 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay North. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Mabel's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
