My Nanny Yetmen You were in my life for the longest time and now you’re gone all in a blink of an eye. I am so confused, I have no idea why this had to happen to you. But I guess God takes some of the best and we all have to die someday. I just wish it weren't so soon. I need to know that you're okay and you're up there with God, watching over me still witnessing me grow I need some sort of sign, I need to know! I guess the pain and suffering is all done, I miss you Nan. I just need one more day with you so I can tell you how much I love and miss you. Nan I love you with all my heart. And I know that you're up there watching over me. I remember how you told me everything, no matter what happens, will be okay. I love you Nan, rest in peace. I'll be seeing you again one day. My Nan always called me “Rouse”. I can hear the big ones coming out of Nan when they scored on the Leafs. I remember the nights when she watched WWF, ‘o’ how she would get so mad. I remember the cups of tea, the ketchup sandwiches I’ve had with her. O the memories that I have. Words can’t describe how much I miss this woman, she wasn’t just a Nan she was also a Mom to me. I could never do any wrong in this woman’s eyes. It’s been over 5 years since I saw Nan, I wish I could rewind time and be with her every single day. I envy anyone who has had the pleasure to be with her. I know she is in Heaven and sitting next to God. Nan, I wish I could be 1% like you. You were the most loving, warm - heart woman I have ever known. I pray for my family to be strong, Little G and myself will miss you greatly. I love you with all my heart nanny!!! Gerard Connors Jr.
