PRIDDLE, John 'Jack'- Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, September 18, 2009, John 'Jack' Priddle of Victoria, age 75 years. Predeceased by wife: Ida; grandson: Jackie Layden; brothers: Lloyd, Abel and Norman; sisters: Viola Kelland and Gwen Noftall; Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Pam (Harold) Parsons, Victoria, Laurie Baker, Carbonear and Gwendolyn (Terry) Layden, Victoria; two sons: John (Edwina) and Lionel (Stacey), both of Victoria; nine grandchildren: Billy (Amy), Freeman (Melissa), Leonard, Terry, Jordan, Karl, Kenny Miranda and Keisha; two great-grandchildren: Kaleb and Chloe; one sister: Rosalie (Norman) Penney, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear.
