MORIARTY, Annie - Passed peacefully away at her residence on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, Annie Moriarty of Harbour Grace, affectionately known as 'Nan Moo', age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: Andrew; daughter: Cynthia; parents: John and Jane Sheehan; sisters: Veronica Hynes, Alice O'Grady and Eileen Barrington; brother: James Sheehan. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Alice (Neville) Garland, Harbour Grace, Judy (Harold) Sheppard, Mount Pearl and Beverley (George) Crocker, Harbour Grace; one son: Andrew (Mary), Marystown; seven grandchildren: Lisa (Jamie) Hodder, Lynn (Rick) Smith, Geoff (Denise) Garland, Stephanie (Chris) Oliver, Melanie Sheppard, Brad Sheppard and Louanne Crocker; five great-grandchildren: Tristan, Ashley and Raina Garland, Connor Gash and Hayley Oliver; life-long friends: Margaret Moriarty and Gertie Thomas; dedicated and caring support workers: Natasha, Angela, Carol, Christine, Ethel, Janet, Phil and Stephanie; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund, Harbour Grace, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Ronald McDonald House, St. John's.
