Obituary of Mabel Kelloway

KELLOWAY, Mabel- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, November 24, 2008, Mabel Kelloway of Perry's Cove, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: James; daughters: Patsy King and Emma (Willis) Parsons; son: Herbert; granddaughter: Dorothy Parsons; grandson: Rodney Kelloway; great-granddaughter: Chantelle Kelloway; four sisters: Emma Crocker, Elexey Clarke, Hannah Jane Reid and Mary Patience Butler. Leaving to mourn: two daughters: Darlene (John) Kelloway and Glenys (Robert) Wareham, both of Salmon Cove; two sons: Peter (Elsie), Cambridge, ON and George R. (Margaret), Adam's Cove; twenty-four grandchildren and spouses; fifty-one great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Joyce Kelloway, Toronto, ON; son-in-law: Herman (Jessie) King, Victoria; two special nephews: Clarence (Florence) Butler, Northern Bay and David Crocker, Long Island, NY also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 26. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Perry's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the United Church, Perry's Cove.
