To Marie's family Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I'm so thankful that we were able to see Aunt Marie just two years ago. Her inner beauty was all around her and showed in her family. She was amazing to watch as she walked out in her back yard so we could take pictures. She walked around that yard like it was her kitchen floor, I only hope I can live such a long fulfilling life. Over the years she and Uncle Ed would drop in from time to time on their travels, but meeting her again in 2006 was a real treat. At 90 she was truly a beautiful person. Again, our thoughts are with you all. Ron and Debbie

Dear Elsie and Family, My sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother. We are never really ready for that, are we? So many memories of your parents and mine and all the "gang" getting together for cards and fancy sandwiches! Also fond memories of dinner at your house and birthday parties, of course. Your Mom was always such a sweet and gentle lady. May she rest in peace and you find comfort in your wonderful memories. Love, Dianne

To all the Skinner Family: Words cannot express how saddened and shocked I am by the passing of your dear mother. Although I only had the privilege of knowing her for 6 years it seems that we have been friends forever. She was always the last one I spoke with at night and the first one to speak to in the morning. If her curtains weren't open by 9:30 I would call and her bedtime was always 11:00 unless I had called before to tell her about a show to watch on TV. She insisted that I not call her Mrs. Skinner as my generation were taught to respect our elders so she very fondly became known as "My Sweet Marie." You are all in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers. May God bless "My Sweet Marie." I will miss her immensely. Sincerely, Judy

Anne; Elsie ; Don; Harold and family Our deepest sympathies on the passing of your dear mother. I remember your Mom and Dad so well from their many years living on Bond Street. They were such good friends with my parents Ben and Clarrie. I recall clearly when I spoke to your mother on the phone on the night of Feb 14 2000 and asked her to look across the street and see if there were any lights on in our house. She was so distressed because there had been no lights on for an hour or so after dark and she knew there was something terribly wrong with Mom. Sorry I cannot be with you due to our own loss of a very close music friend of mine whose funeral also takes place on Friday and our group is participating in the service. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Frank and Deli Davis St.John's NL

Hi Don, We are very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was blessed to have lived a long and relatively healthy life. I know this doesn't ease the loss you and your family feel for your mother, but I hope you find some comfort in the fact that she did not suffer very much. Our prayers and thoughts are with and your family. If there is anything that we can do to help you in your time of sorrow, please let us know. With deepest sympathy, Bill and Renee
