Obituary of Elizabeth Bessie Forward

FORWARD, Elizabeth Bessie - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, August 23, 2008, Elizabeth Bessie Forward of Carbonear, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents: Simeon and Alice Clarke; brothers: Clarence Clarke and Donald Clarke. Leaving to mourn, husband: Frederick E.; two daughters: Winnifred (Christopher) Budden, Denver, Colorado, USA and Michelle (Craig) Case, Carbonear; four sons: Bruce (Leslie), Fred Jr. (Cindy), John (Florence) and Wayne (Valerie), all of Carbonear; eleven grandchildren: Keegan, Liam, Michaela, Megan, Bradley (Lynn), Jamie, Chad (Roxanne), Ashley, Christina (Paul), Jennifer (Trevor) and Jonathan; four great-grandchildren: Noah, Spencer, Mark and Emily; one brother: Herb Clarke, Carbonear; one sister: Evelyn Clarke, Victoria; brother-in-law: James Forward, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Muriel Brewer, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 26 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of NL.
