MOORES, Melvina- Passed peacefully away at Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, July 6, 2008, Melvina Moores of Carbonear, age 92 years. Leaving to mourn: one son: Anthony; one daughter: Carolyn (Mike) Bugo; two grandchildren: Anthony (Lyndsay) and David (Kristy). Predeceased by husband: Ambrose; parents: Francis and Elizabeth Davis; brothers: Benjamin and Rev. Reuben; sister: Minnie Vinetta; and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME,Water Street, Carbonear, with visitation hours by request of the family Tuesday July 8 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Bethany United Church Choir or to the C.N.I.B.
