SWEETLAND, Mary- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Friday, May 9, 2008, Mary Sweetland of Harbour Grace, age 101 years. Predeceased by husband: Edward; son: Raymond; parents: George and Alice Lynch; three brothers: Mike, George and Dave; three sisters: Laura, Ethel and Frances; two step-brothers: Jack and Walter. Leaving to mourn, daughter-in-law: Daphne Sweetland, Carbonear; three grandchildren: Rae (Jim), Edward (Virginia) and Keith (Heather); five great-grandchildren: Lucas, Andrew, Christopher, Noah and Halle; step-brother: Selby (Mildred) Lynch, Shearstown; step-sister: Alice (William) Adams, Brampton, ON a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church Restoration Fund, Harbour Grace.
