BUTT, Alfreda- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, Alfreda Butt of Carbonear, age 77 years. Predeceased by son: Barry; grandson: Brent; brothers; Max and Albert. Leaving to mourn, husband: Herman; four daughters: Lillian (Allan) Clarke, Victoria, Anne Deering, Carbonear, Sheila (Brian) Gear, Carbonear and Wanda (Terry) Yetman, Bryant's Cove; two sons: Ronald (Philomena), Burnt Point and Paul (Gladys), Freshwater, Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Brenda Butt, Fort MacMurray, AB; eleven grandchildren: Stephen, Tracey (Ed), Scott (Tracey), Dennis, Jennifer, Corey, Rhonda, Megan, Barry Jr. (Carnel), Blaine (Tracey) and Bradley (Denise); eight great-grandchildren; one sister: Lillian Burke, Toronto, ON; sister-in-law: Helen Penney, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear.
