Obituary of Cora Ash

ASH, Cora E. (nee Ellsworth) - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, December 30, 2011, Cora E. Ash of Carbonear, age 61 years. Predeceased by husband: Augustus 'Gus'; father: Albert Ellsworth; brothers-in-law: Bert Payne and Jacob Payne. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Beverley (Glen) Trickett, Broad Cove and Denise (Jonathan) Pederson, Regina, Sask; mother: Rose Ellsworth, Springdale; two grandchildren: Hayley and Caleb; sisters: Mary Payne, Rocky Harbour, Regina Ellsworth, Norris Point and Sheila Maynard, Woody Point; brothers: Douglas, Gander, Eric, Victoria, Hughie, London, ON and Mark (Margaret), Fort McMurray, AB; brothers-in-law: David (Marilyn) Ash, Mount Pearl and Gord (Debbie) Ash, Victoria; Eric Green, Heart's Content; sisters-in-law: Lina (Sidney) Payne and Gloria (Norman) Peddle, both of Heart's Content; special friends: Ingham and Denise Blundell, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service to take place on Monday, January 2 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Cora E. Ash Memorial Fund.
