It is with profound broken hearts we announce the sudden peaceful passing of Linda Trickett of Harbour Grace at Carbonear General Hospital in the presence of her daughters on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the age of 66 years.

Linda was a gentle and kind soul, loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend. She loved a good chat on phone, going out to restaurants, drives in the car, drinking her tea, shopping and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family. She spent the last 15+ years on dialysis and spoke so highly of the nurses who worked tirelessly to keep her healthy and well, and always went with a smile.

Predeceased by husband: John; infant son: Trevor; parents: Leo and Violet Kielley; brothers: Rick and Tony Kielley; parents-in-law: Harris and Jane Trickett.

Leaving to keep her legacy alive is daughters: Crystal (Stanley) Vokey, Spaniard’s Bay and Danielle (Curtis) French, St. John’s; grandchildren: Ben, Norah and Lexi; sister: Karen (Raymond) Kelly, Grate’s Cove; Sister-in-law: Sarah Kielley; nieces and nephews: Jason, Cindy and Cassandra; special friends: Ann Goodwin, Larry and Grace Vokey; also a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to the nurses of the Carbonear General Hospital Dialysis unit and the staff of the 5th floor and the ICU unit for their empathy and care.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, January 6 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 7 at 1:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace.

Interment in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
