Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Violet G. Sheppard of Harbour Grace South, age 78 years.
Predeceased by parents: Violet and George Pike; sisters: Mary (Duncan) Hunt, Ruth (Edward) McCarthy, and Joyce (Leo) Stephens; brothers: Gerald, Doug (Una), Arthur (Susie), Roy, George (Grace), and David.
Leaving to mourn, husband: William; daughter: Kim (Craig) Sheppard; sons: Perry (Wendy) and Paul (Joanne); grandchildren: Melissa (Brad), Bradly (Amy), Ashley, and Grace; great-grandchildren: Logan, Kinsley, Ava, Layton, and Isaac; brothers: Rendall (Mary) Pike and Lorne (Marie-deceased) Pike; sister-in-law: Marie Pike; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, November 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.,7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace South.
Interment in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace South.
