Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2024, Grayson Penney of Western Bay, age 80 years. Predeceased by wife: Doreen; son: Sean; granddaughter: Nicole; brothers: Howard and Bruce (Janice). Leaving to mourn, son: Curtis; grandchildren: Ryan, Caleb, and Faith; brother Baxter (Marjorie); also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to 6th & 7th floor nursing staff of Carbonear General Hospital, as well as hematologist, Dr. Costello for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society online at www.cancer.ca.
