Obituary of Melvina (Noftle) Jacobs

Passed peacefully away at The Agnes Pratt Home, St. John's on August 23, 2024, Melvina Jacobs formerly of Broad Cove, age 85 years. Predeceased by her children’s father: Ray Jacobs; son: Carl; grandson: Brad Hayden; parents: Don and Rose Noftle; brother: Wayne (Joan) Noftle. Leaving to mourn, daughters: Yvonne (Michael) and Cheryl (Vince); sons: Brad (Denise) and Shawn (Jackie); grandchildren: Lloyd, Mark, Everett (Kim), Jill (Tobias), Ben (Allison), Allie, Carlie, and Neal; great-grandchildren: Landon, Kendra, Landen, Hayden, Lexie, Mai, Belle, Sophia, Alba, Edie, and Ellis; brothers: Clyde (Florence) and Ron (Mildred); special cousins: Ruby (Mood), Daphne, Yvonne and Cheryl Mulley; dear friend: Irene Mercer; furry companion: Tasha; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff at Agnes Pratt Home, St. John’s for their care and kindness. Interment to take place on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at United Church Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove.
