Obituary of Carol Effie Emberley

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Carol Effie Emberley of Victoria, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband: Joseph 'Joe'; daughter: Jacqueline; parents: Ishmael and Emma Wicks; sister: Violet; brother: Gordon. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Susan (Darryl) Parsons, Carolann (Cory) Spurrell, and Annie Emberley (Carson Clarke); two sons: Jack and Gord (Shelleen); fourteen grandchildren: Justin (Becky), Janelle (Travis), Ashley (Brandon), Allison (Robert), Michael, Laura (Coady), Brianna, Jennifer (Mark), Kayla (Justin), Melissa, Bradley (Amy), Shianne (Jacob), Shara (Michael), and Shayna; twenty-six great-grandchildren; four sisters: Hilda (Reg) King, Verna (Hubert) Ivany, Robena (Wesley) King, and Lillian (Patrick-deceased) Couvrette; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, August 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m, Sunday, August 4 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Victoria United Church. Interment in Victoria United Cemetery.
