BURKE, Eliza - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Sunday, May 5, 2013, Eliza Burke of Victoria, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Eric; parents: William and Elizabeth Antle; brothers: Jim, Joshua, Art and Obediah; sisters: Jessie, Lillian, Lena and Sadie; sister-in-law: Shirley Antle. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Sheila (Rodney) Sheppard, Harbour Grace; two brothers: Eleazer Antle, St. John's and Frank (Madeline) Antle, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Monday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
