To Byron and family Not only did i know your mom when i was a little girl growing up, but in the past few years we were neighbours. I loved being outside working in the garden and would often chat with Bertha. She loved her yard being well groomed and lawns cut perfectly...she was very proud of her home and surroundings. My husband Cliff enjoyed chatting with her too. She always had a smile for him and enjoyed their little chats . She is missed. To: Byron (Alison); Caleb and Kyra; Harold (Joyce) Erwin (Brenda) Sandra (Charlie and extended family We were so saddened for you, as we learned about the passing of your precious loved one, Bertha. However, we do take great comfort and rejoice for the truth of God’s Word, that promises, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” I personally have treasured the many memories that I've shared with both the Snow and Slade families as a child and teenager. I Spent many hours being nurtured and care for by them. Bertha was always a very kind individual who carried a beautiful smile and expressed her love easily. It’s wonderful to know that Bertha’s life will be remembered today, for her commitment to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She leaves with you a heritage of one who have fought the good fight and have kept the faith. Please be assured of our thoughts and prayers at this time, praying that you may sense the presence, peace, and comfort of our Great Saviour, who have promised to “Never leave you or forsake you” Hold fast to the many cherished memories, the great hope of Heaven and the promise that “the dead in Christ shall rise first and we who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet them in the clouds, to be with our Lord forever.” Take comfort in these words today!
