Passed peacefully away at Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Monday, May 15, 2023, Harold Diamond of Adam's Cove, age 90 years. Predeceased by parents: Leonard and Winnie; brothers: Angus and Melvin. Leaving to mourn, wife: Loretta; four daughters: Lorraine (Eugene) Hurley, Kingston, Katherine (Robert) Flight, Small Point, Susan (Tony) Rowe, Broad Cove, and Carol, Adam’s Cove; two sons: Jeffrey (Leonard), St. John’s and David, Adam’s Cove; eight grandchildren: Lori, Cherry, Stephanie, Jamie, Leanne, Trevor, Lesley, and Mark; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Jessie Diamond, Willowdale, ON; brothers-in-law: Bill (Diane) Olsen, NS and Bernard (Dawn) Olsen, Saint John, NB; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, May 17 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Blackhead. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Adam’s Cove School Hall Inc., Site 6 Box 5 RR1, Adam’s Cove, NL, A1Y 1C6 or a charity of one’s choice.
