Passed suddenly away at his residence on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Jamie Sommers of Victoria, age 42 years. Predeceased by grandparents: Samuel and Esther Sommers; uncles: Fred, George, Steve, John, and Wilbur Butler; aunt: Pauline Butler. Leaving to mourn, mother: Marilyn Sommers, Victoria; fiancé: Charlene Slade, Carbonear; stepdaughter: Jasmine; stepson: Ryan; grandchildren: Maxwell and Maverick; aunts: Rose (Cecil) Clarke, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Dorothy Lynch, Upper Island Cove, and Grace Sommers, Carbonear; special friends: Robert Noel, Edward Priddle, and Kevin Breakly; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, September 15 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 16 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, September 17 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Cremation to follow.
