Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, June 10, 2022, Esther Emberley, age 90 years.
Predeceased by her parents: Absalom and Sarah Emberley, brother: Reuben Emberley and sister: Mabel (Harry) Verge.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her nephew: Wayne and wife, Cindy; great-niece: Sarah (Steven); great-nephews: Craig (Rachelle), Justin (Tonicha), Trevor, and Chris; very special cousins: Edna Roberts and Deanna Emberley; a dear lifelong friend, Clara Whitten; close friends: Joe and Dian Aucoin; as well as other family members and friends, especially those at Lanes Retirement Centre, Carbonear.
A very special thank you to Edna Roberts for tending to Esther’s every need, especially these past three years, you made life so much easier for her. Thank you also to the staff at Lanes for your kindness, care and compassion.
In keeping with Esther’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Service to be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde, Tuesday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at St. Barnabas Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
No flowers by request. As an expression of sympathy, in remembrance of Esther, charitable donations may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, P.O. Box 160, Bay de Verde, NL, A0A 1E0.
