Terri - Lynn. We know how much you loved and cared for your Nan Galway. The two of you had a special bond for sure. You always made sure your Nan had her supper just about every night. You would deliver it to her and sit with her while she ate.That is a special bond right there. She loved you all so much and I know she was proud of each and everyone of u. You have lots of special memories of your nan and that is what will get you through the difficult days ahead. You were blessed to have her and she was blessed to have you. Sincere condolences to the Galway family. Mom (Evelyn Clarke) and Mrs. Galway shared a room at Carbonear hospital and then at the nursing home in Placentia. She was such a lovely lady and it was always comforting to both families, knowing when someone couldn’t get there, a member of either family would look out for them both!! Thinking of you all. There are no words to express how hard it is to put your feelings into words. I grew up next to Aunt Susie she played a large part in every child’s life that was in the Thicket everyone had the greatest respect for her and I can never remember ever hearing her raise her voice Saturday at 3:30 you had to be at Aunt Susie’s house to go to mass for 4:00 and if you didn’t go to mass you never had a prayer to go anywhere else that weekend lol Aunt Susie will be missed dearly but leaves the fondest memories. My sincere condolences to all her children and their families
