Obituary of Bill Oates

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, June 27, 2021, Bill Oates of Carbonear, age 74 years. Predeceased by twin sons: Trent and Travas; parents: Tom and Mollie; brothers: Tom and Art; sister: Sybil. Leaving to mourn, wife: Clara; two sons: Trevor, Carbonear and Todd (Charlene), Harbour Grace; two grandchildren: Ashley and James; four brothers: Cecil (Beatrice, deceased), Carbonear, Dereck (Cathy), Corner Brook, Melvin (Marjorie, deceased), Roaches Line, and Ted (Greta), Carbonear; two sisters: Vickie Thorne and Joyce (Dr. Jim, deceased) Crowley, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, June 29 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 30 from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear, by invitation only. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
