Obituary of Edward Clarke

Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, Edward Clarke of Carbonear, age 98 years.
Predeceased by wife: Dolly; grandchildren: Karen and Robert Slade; son-in-law: Charlie Noseworthy; parents: Thomas and Alice; brothers: Alf (Maisie) and Clarence (Beatrice); sisters: Iva (Doug) Laing and Myrtle (Edward) Pilgrim.
Leaving to mourn, five daughters: Marie (Clarence) Mutrey, Pauline Murray, Joyce (Don) Boone, Iva (Peter) Wells, and Yvonne Noseworthy; two sons: David (Marg) and Reginald; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Due to the current pandemic, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Interment for select immediate family members will take place on Thursday, April 30 at 12:00 noon at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear North.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3V6.
