Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, Rosalie V. Penney of Victoria, age 83 years.
Predeceased by husband: Norman; daughter-in-law: Sherry 'Anne'; brothers: Lloyd, Norman, Abel and John; sisters: Gwendolyn and Viola.
Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Viola (Max) Moore, Victoria; one son: Nelson (Mary Lynne Murphy), Salmon Cove; one granddaughter: Jennifer (Jeff) Slade, Victoria; two great-grandchildren: Jack and Julianne; residents and staff of Luxury Estates, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, Presentation Centre, 3 St. Catherine Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, A2A 1V7.
