Obituary of Albert 'Bud' Chafe

Passed suddenly away at his residence on Friday, January 17, 2020, Albert 'Bud' Chafe of Harbour Grace, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents: Albert and Sadie Chafe; parents-in-law: Marcus and Nellie Noel; brother: Wallace; brothers-in-law: Ralph Charston, Kevin Kelly, Harold Noel, Shawn Harris, Leslie Dove, and Hubert White; sisters-in-law: Shirley Harris and Evelyn Noel. Leaving to mourn his wife of 64 years: Mildred; eight children: Maurice (Gale), Bristol’s Hope, Fred (Karen), Ralph (Sharon), Debbie (Paul), Harold (Pauline), all of Harbour Grace, Nellie (Brian), Tilton, Albert (Suzanne), and Kevin (Kim) of Harbour Grace; special friend: Phil Mahaney; twelve grandchildren: Brendan (Tara), Becky (Frank), Jeremy (Cynthia), Cory (Jessica), Melissa (Scott), Brian (Deirdre), Colin, Mitchel (Amy), Bernie (Adrianne), Brianne (Madison), Abby, and Emily; ten great-grandchildren: Madison, Rylan, Soleil, Jacob, Mason, Lily, Carter, Elle, Eden, and Isaac; sisters: Elva Kelly, Glenda Spadafora (Joe), Beverly Sicard, Brenda (Don) Cousins, all of Ontario; sisters-in-law: Darlene Chafe, Ontario, Marilyn (Jim) McCarthy, Nova Scotia, Sylvia White, Nellie Dove, both of Carbonear, and Sandra Noel, Perry’s Cove; brothers-in-law: Mark (Diane) Noel, Ontario, Dave Noel, Victoria, and Jesse Noel, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
