Obituary of Cecilia Lynch

LYNCH, Cecilia - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, September 30, 2011, Cecilia Lynch of Harbour Grace, age 66 years. Predeceased by husband: Nathaniel 'Nath'; infant son: Edward; grandson: Nathaniel 'Buddy' Lynch; parents: Lawrence and Mary Mercer. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Jeanette (Darrell) Butt, Hanmer, ON and Alice (Kevin) Pye, Harbour Grace; three grandchildren: Jonah, Ryan and Jonathan; five brothers: Lawrence (Angela) Mercer, Paradise, Ralph (Donna) Mercer, Bridgewater, NS, Ed (Sylvia) Mercer and Don (Rosalind) Mercer, both of Harbour Grace and Jerry (Catherine) Mercer, Harbour Grace South; four sisters: Sadie (Graham) Lynch, Harbour Grace, Frances (Malcolm) Sears, Paradise, Veronica (Walter) Follett and Janet Mercer, both of Harbour Grace; sister-in-law: Hazel Lynch, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street Harbour Grace. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Cecilia Lynch Memorial Fund.
