CLARKE, Pearl W. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Friday, September 2, 2011, Pearl W. Clarke of Blackhead, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: George W., brother: William C.R. Sellars and sister: Florence Crummey. Leaving to mourn, sisters-in-law: Joyce (Sandy) McGregor and Marion (Milton) Sellars, both of Toronto, ON and Jessie (Jack) Ryan, Montreal, PQ; brother-in-law: Gordon (Joyce) Clarke, Victoria; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours by request of the family on Saturday, September 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay North. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Shriners Children's Travel Fund.
