BESS, Winston G. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, Winston G. Bess of Victoria, age 68 years. Predeceased by son: Winston Jr.; parents: Thomas and Ruby; brother: Clarence; sister: Helen (late Leonard Parsons). Leaving to mourn wife: Dora; one daughter: Ruby (William) Ball, Victoria; one son: Moral (Tracey), Stephenville; five grandchildren: Ryan, Aaron, Abigail, Leah and Joel; one brother: William (Winnifred), St. John's two sisters: Florence (Archibald) Stanford, Corner Brook and Elsie (Eric) Sellars, Western Bay; sister-in-law: Blanche Bess, Hinton, AB; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 6 at 2:00 p.m from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Gideons International in Canada.
