Obituary of Louise F. Snow

SNOW, Louise F. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, Louise F. Snow of Carbonear, age 76 years. Louise was a member of the Salvation Army Home League for 35 years. She taught Sunday School for 35 years and taught Junior Soldiers. Predeceased by: husband: William 'Bill'; brothers: James and George; sister: Mildred; brothers-in-law: Alfred Snow and Allan Curnew. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Karen (Frank) Butt, Carbonear, Kim (Layton) MacLeod, Port Williams, NS and Kelly (Brian) O'Leary, Carbonear; two sons: Curtis (Heather), Mount Pearl and Trevor (Alana), Paradise; nine grandchildren: Dylan, Kristian, Sara, Billy, Angus, Jacob, Marcus, Hannah and Jenna; one brother: Bill (Phyllis) Davis, Ontario; two sisters: Olive Homer, Victoria and Margaret (Kevin) Earle, Carbonear; sisters-in-laws: Bertha Snow and Audrey Curnew, both of Victoria and Violet (Howard) Snow, North River and Florence Davis, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
