SQUIBB, Margaret A. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, July 1, 2011, Margaret A. Squibb of Carbonear, age 79 years. Predeceased by husband; Walter, parents: Hayward and Benneth Bishop, brothers: Wilfred, James and William, sister: Lorraine. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Hilda Squibb (Derrick Trickett), Carbonear and Hazel (Sheldon) Hiscock, Victoria; one granddaughter: Taylor; four brothers: Earl (Agnes) Bishop, Harbour Grace, Hayward (Pauline) Bishop, Carbonear, Edwin (Marjorie) Bishop, Heart's Delight and John (Donna) Bishop, Carbonear; four sisters: Florrie Thomas, Heart's Delight, Nellie Brobisky, South Carolina, Emma Hiscock, Winterton and Elva Morgan, Heart's Delight; sisters-in-law: Myrtle Bishop, Cavendish and Rose Bishop, Heart's Delight; brothers-in-law: Stan (Margaret) Squibb and Eldred Squibb, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours by request of the family on Saturday, July 2 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday, July 3 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Monday, July 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Cemetery Fund.
