To: Family and Extended Family of Charles Antle Sorry to hear of Charles Antle's passing. I have known Charles since earliest childhood and have some very fond memories of him especially his cutting my dad's hair. Also, I do remember having such delicious food given to me as I waited with Dad. He was indeed a very gentle and kind man. Let the God of all comfort be your source of peace and strength at this time. Turn to and trust in Him because He is very much concerned with our grief and sorrow. Be assured that you are in my thoughts and prayers. John A. Murray - Kamloops, British Columbia

I've known Charlie since 1965 when I moved on Swansea road. The first time I met him he was cutting hair, using the old fashion clippers just like my father did.I got to know him well as I became part of the family. Hair cutting was just one of his many traits you could say. He was also a great painter,(neat as a pin). Nobody could put up mouldings like him, carving out the corners with a pocket knife. If You wanted flooring put down, Charlie was the man. He was a great cook and house cleaner, always there to help out. He kept us going with potatoes and other vegetables.I'll never forget all he did for my family back then and I made sure I told him so.I've never heard a bad word spoken from him about anyone. He never complained, accepted his condition without a murmer. He had to be the most gentle and humble man you ever met. The Parsons family came to know and love Charlie over the past few months when he moved into the room with my father at the Victorian Home. He and dad got along great and looked out for each other. Dad shared everything with him. Whatever we bought for dad we'd get the same for charlie. My sisters told him that they were his adapted daughters. They certainly taught a lot of him and will miss him so much. Yes we were really blessed to have known such a gentle, humble, person. We'll surely miss him, especially dad.He certainly left a mark on all of us. Our hearts go out to his family. Our prayers are with you that God will give you strength and confort. Be comfortrd to know that Charlie is with his Lord. He gave conformation of that a couple of weeks ago. That his heart was right with God and he was ready to meet his maker. Blessings. Elsie, Will, and the Parsons family

To Charlie's Family: Sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. We heard a lot about him through Shirley and Clarence, and we heard how he was doing every day, and that way, he became part of our lives. It's hard to believe that the three of them are gone now....but how much better for them to be sitting at the feet of Jesus. We just want the family to know that we are thinking and praying for all of you.
