When I think of my mom, one thing that comes to mind is how she never failed our family, and as I stood by her bedside the last few hours before her passing I held her hand and told her that.
She was amazing women who touched the hearts of all who knew her. She had a warm and and loving smile who filled a room with so much joy. I'm a very proud daugher who had the joy and blessing of having the last 26 years shared with such a wonderful mother and friend.
We have shared so many memories and mildstones together, things that I will hold dear to my heart forever!!
Thank you for everything you have done for me...keep guideing us through life from the pathways of heaven and keep shining your smile down on your beautiful grandchildren.. always know we hold you dearly in our hearts, and untill we meet again...we love you!!
Love you always,
Robin, Shawn, Austin, Hailey, Harmony and Hudson

Well what can I say. I sit here now thinking about my sister Marilyn. Trying to think of a story to share and finding it very difficult to select just one. There are so many fond memories I have of her but in them all there are several things that keeps coming through. How she was so kind, giving, fun loving, friendly, pleasant, etc. Those traits are the ones that I will remember the most and certainly miss forever.
I know when Mom passed on it was Marilyn who kept me informed about Victoria and all the going ons. I will miss our chats about the family, the good and the bad. She always was very candid and upfront with me for which I appreciated.
I did get to spend many hours with Marilyn over the 13 plus weeks she spent in the hospital. We shared many thoughts and feelings about what was going on and where we both figured her illness was taking her. I will cherish those hours forever and I'm sure we got much closer because of it.
I will miss her forever! I know that someday we will meet again. I also know that she is in heaven and I know we now have one more angel looking out for us all. RIP - Marilyn. Love and miss you forever.

Robin, Ryan, Rodney & Families, The Moores & Butt Families. We had the pleasure of knowing Marilyn very well, She was a part of our family as we were of hers. We have many memories with Marilyn and they were wonderful. I would of been home to see her but due to my pregnancy I am on bed rest and unable to fly. I had many meaningful conversations with Marilyn and I will never forget our friendship. On my vacations home it was always Sunday dinner at Marilyn and everyone was there. My mother Yvonne and Marilyn also had a very treasured friendship that she will always hold close to her heart. Yvonne is wishing with everything that she could be there. Sending hugs and kisses to you all. Sherry & Yvonne Slade Grande Prairie, Alberta

Although in our hearts we know Marilyn is today in a better place, we were hoping to see her again in a couple of weeks. I know there is a tremendous feeling of loss but you can smile because she lived and look around and see all that she has left and the love that you all shared. You can find comfort in her memories and be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. Marilyn was full of life and loved by everyone who knew her. She has left a loving family behind but today is in the presence of the loving family that has gone before her. She is now back to her old self, no more pain and suffering, and looking down with love on all her family. Our love and prayers are with all of you and your families and know we are with you all in spirit. Give Marilyn a kiss so long for mom and I. She will live on in our hearts forever. The day God called you home
God looked around his garden,
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this Earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never,
Get well on Earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, "Peace by Thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Robin, Ryan, Rodney, Garry and family's
So sorry for your loss, your mother was a wonderful person inside and out, no doubt she will forever be missed by all who loved her. Be strong for each other and hopefully you can find comfort in knowing she suffer's no more. God bless. RIP "Mudder" xoxox

We were totally shocked when we heard of Marilyn's passing. Our heart breaks for you. Marilyn was always a loving and caring person. I have spend many days and nights at Marilyn's with Robin growing up. She always welcomed me be it if she was being a mother figure to the both of us because we were out with the boys or if she was just sitting and singing karaoke with us. She used to call me "Mary Liz" and I would call her "Mary Jane". She even called me that before Christmas when I saw her last. Ricky used to call for Ryan and he would talk to Marilyn longer than he would talk to Ryan. He was her "Hunny". RIP "Mary Jane". You no longer have to fight and you are now in a place where there is no pain. Thinking of you all!
